1. Information We Collect
OTOHAKO may collect the following information through the website and mobile app.
- Location information, with device permission, for nearby event search
- Event response information, stored in cookies on the web and on the server in the app
- Authentication information such as email address and name from Google or Apple accounts
- Profile information such as Instagram ID, display name, avatar image, bio, area, and favorite genres
- Follow relationships between users
- Push notification tokens, for the app only
- Event information such as organizer and performer Instagram IDs
- Public Instagram post captions and images used for event information extraction
- Contact information such as email address, inquiry message, and category
- Usage data such as page views, custom events, referrers, and device information through Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics
- Crash information such as stack traces, device information, and OS version, for the app only
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for the following purposes.
- Providing event search and display features
- Providing nearby event search
- Improving and analyzing the service
- Providing aggregated attendance interest data to organizers and venues
- Sending service notices and notifications
- Responding to inquiries
- Sending event information and campaign emails
3. Sharing with Third Parties
The operator does not provide users' personal information to third parties except as required by law. Aggregated event response counts may be shared with organizers or venues.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
The service uses cookies and local storage to save event response states, maintain authentication sessions, analyze access, and temporarily store redirect destinations after authentication. Disabling cookies in the browser may limit some features.

6. Location Information
The nearby events feature and venue search may use device location. The website uses the browser location API, and the app uses device location services.
Location information is generally processed on the device. When using venue search through Google Places API, coordinates may be sent to Google to improve search accuracy. OTOHAKO does not store location information on its servers.
7. Push Notifications
The app sends push notifications for new events from followed DJs or organizers, event reminders, and related notices. Device notification tokens are collected and stored for this purpose.
Users can disable notification categories in the app notification settings, or disable all app notifications from the device OS settings.
8. Analytics
The service uses Google Analytics 4 and Firebase Analytics to understand usage and improve the service. Collected data is sent to each provider's servers and is not linked to personally identifying information by OTOHAKO.
9. Data Retention
User data is stored with appropriate security measures. Data that is no longer needed will be deleted promptly.
10. User Rights
Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal data. OTOHAKO will respond within a reasonable period after verifying the user's identity.
11. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time from My Page, Profile Edit, Delete Account in the app. Deleting an account removes personal data such as profile information, going events, follow relationships, and notification settings. Event information created by the user may remain to avoid affecting other users.
